Below you will find the analysis of the Center for Law and Education regarding the Bush education initiative as well as issues with S2. You will note that this commentary is footnoted. The footnotes relate to the discussion draft of the Senate version of this bill. It is especially critical that you contact any member of your federal delegation that serves on either key committee in the House or Senate. To see members of the Senate Committee, click here. To see the members of the House Committee, click here. Needless to say, due to the fast approaching mark up in the Senate, it is most imperative to contact you members of the Senate first!
Linked to the analysis of the legislative proposals are 'talking points' about these proposals. It is critical that every member of the Senate and House are contacted concerning these issues! Please write to or call the members of your congressional delegation and educate them about the positions taken in the linked talking points.
